Warning: Indian men may not actually smell like curry, but they might just spice up your life!

Not showering for a week and without the use of any perfume or deodorant I can safely say that I smell like curry, think it's butter chicken!

So I guess you are wondering what this post is about? Why not read on and indulge in the many fragrances from my experience that make me not smell like curry.

Honestly, I've never been a big fan of perfumes, but there's one classic that's always stood the test of time for me - Brut by Fabergé! There's something about its timeless, masculine scent that just works. While other fancy brands haven't won me over, Brut remains my go-to choice. Simple, yet effective!

Another favorite is Old Spice Original (the after shave) The iconic scent has remained unchanged and unbeatable for decades. Unfortunately, the deo spin-off didn't quite capture the magic of the original. But that classic bottle, with its unmistakable fragrance, remains a staple in many a gentleman's grooming arsenal. Timeless, masculine, and unmistakable - Old Spice Original is a true masterpiece!

For those who prefer a subtle, all-day freshness, talcs and deodorants can be a great option. Personally, I'm a fan of Z Men's Talc & Deowith its invigorating woody fragrance that's perfect for everyday wear. There's something about the crisp, clean scent that's both refreshing and masculine.

Beyond the realm of conventional perfumes, lies a world of ancient, non-alcoholic fragrances known as attars. These concentrated, oil-based scents have been prized for centuries in traditional Indian and Middle Eastern cultures. Attars are crafted using natural ingredients like essential oils, herbs, spices, and botanicals, often through labor-intensive processes like steam distillation and maceration.

Unlike perfumes, attars don't contain alcohol, making them a great option for those with sensitive skin or preferences. They're typically applied to pulse points or worn on the skin, releasing a subtle, yet intense aroma that lingers throughout the day.

Exploring attars is a journey of discovery, with fragrances ranging from floral and woody to spicy and oriental. From the sweet, heady scent of rose attar to the earthy, woody notes of sandalwood attar, each one is a sensory experience waiting to unfold.

Embracing attars is not just about smelling good; it's about connecting with a rich cultural heritage and tradition. So, if you're looking to venture beyond conventional perfumery and indulge your senses, the world of attars awaits.
